DomiNIC - Products & Services enables the provider to create products with a high degree of flexibility and to offer the customer the possibility to choose from different services of a product and to configure these services individually based on parameters. That way it is possible to conveniently realize nearly all imaginable requests in regard to domain registrations whether it is the ordering of a home page package (domain + web space + mail boxes), the registration of a domain as an alias for another domain or operating one's own mail and name servers.
The provider can arrange his products and services in DomiNIC by editing two well-structured and documented XML files. XML is outstandingly well suited to group the services within a product at will and thus also to image complex tree structures if needed. In the process it is possible to define the logical relations between the individual services (and, or, either ... or), which service parameters are visible to and configurable by the customer in the GUI, how the GUI elements are labeled and which default settings apply.
